A Conversation With Ronnie
Ronnie Ellis’ earliest memories of childhood in Hopewell include “stompin’ around” the firehouse while his grandfather and uncle served as Chief of the HFD and Battalion Chief, respectively. They inspired Ronnie to a life of service to the community, especially those in most need at any given moment. Ronnie started his career as a firefighter and first responder in 2002, beginning what he calls his “path to happiness”.
In 2008, Ronnie married Terry Doane. Their dedication to family, church, community and even their small business endeavor is a blueprint to their fulfillment. Their 4 grandchildren add to their good fortune!
Ronnie's campaign for Council is the culmination of his dedication and life of service for residents in the City of Hopewell.
